Tender noodles tossed with ground beef, soy, and ginger for bold, comforting Asian flavors in just minutes.

# Ingredients List:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
02 - 8.8 ounces ground beef
03 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
05 - 2 teaspoons white pepper powder, to taste
06 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
07 - 2 tablespoons chopped spring onion
08 - 4.2 ounces dried vermicelli noodles

→ Optional Garnishes

09 - 2 tablespoons Chinese dark vinegar
10 - 2 tablespoons Chinese chili oil

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add ground beef and break it apart with a spoon. Cook until the meat is evenly browned.
02 - Add grated ginger and soy sauce to the pan. Stir fry for 10 to 15 seconds. Pour in 1 cup of water and add white pepper powder. Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes, adding additional water if needed to maintain sauciness.
03 - Cook vermicelli noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
04 - In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup cold water. Pour the slurry into the beef mixture and stir constantly until the sauce thickens evenly.
05 - Toss the cooked vermicelli noodles with the beef sauce. Top with chopped spring onion. Drizzle with Chinese dark vinegar and chili oil if desired before serving.

# Extra Information:

01 - Briefly frying the soy sauce with the browned beef deepens the flavor, adding caramelized, sweet and toasty notes.
02 - Vermicelli noodles offer a satisfyingly similar texture to hand-pulled Chinese noodles, but any noodle can be substituted if preferred.
