05 - 0.5 teaspoon cumin powder
06 - 0.5 teaspoon salt

10 - 8 flour tortillas

→ For Cooking

11 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, plus 2 teaspoons for pan-frying

→ To Serve (Optional)

12 - Salsa
13 - Guacamole

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté chopped onion and garlic until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up the meat, until it begins to brown.
02 - Incorporate tomato paste, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and continue cooking until beef is fully cooked and the mixture is evenly combined. Remove from heat and transfer the beef mixture to a bowl.
03 - Lay a flour tortilla flat on your work surface. On one half, layer mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, beef mixture, more cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese again in sequence. Fold the tortilla in half to encase the filling.
04 - Heat 2 teaspoons vegetable oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Place the folded quesadilla in the pan and cook for about 3 minutes until the bottom is golden and crisp. Carefully flip and cook the other side for an additional 3 minutes, until both sides are well browned and cheese is melted.
05 - Transfer the cooked quesadilla to a cutting board and cut it in half. Serve warm with salsa and guacamole if desired.

# Extra Information:

01 - For crispier results, avoid overfilling the tortillas and ensure even heat while pan-frying.
