Juicy cheeseburger sliders (Print-Friendly Recipe)

Delicious juicy cheeseburger sliders with melted cheddar, seasoned beef, and soft dinner rolls for an easy meal.

# Ingredients List:

→ Meat and Dairy

01 - 2 lb lean ground beef (90/10 or 93/7 fat content)
02 - 8 slices medium cheddar cheese
03 - 170 g (6 oz) medium cheddar, shredded
04 - 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

→ Bread

05 - 24 dinner rolls (or 2 packs of 12)

→ Vegetables and Seasoning

06 - 1/2 large yellow onion, finely diced
07 - 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

→ Oils and Condiments

08 - 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
09 - 1/4 cup mayonnaise
10 - 1 tsp salt
11 - 1 tsp black pepper
12 - 1 tsp garlic powder

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and butter the bottom of a rimmed baking sheet.
02 - Heat 1/2 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and ground beef, breaking up the meat with a spatula. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until beef is just done, then remove from heat.
03 - Tilt the skillet to spoon off excess fat and discard it. Stir mayonnaise into the beef mixture until fully combined.
04 - Cut rolls in half. Arrange bottom halves on the buttered baking sheet and top each with a slice of cheddar cheese. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the cheese, using a spatula to create an even layer. Cover the beef with shredded cheddar.
05 - Place the top halves of the rolls, cut side down, over the beef. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until cheese melts and tops are golden brown.

# Extra Information:

01 - Use lean ground beef to reduce excess fat and avoid soggy sliders. Make ahead and reheat well.
