Grilled Cheese Burrito (Print-Friendly Recipe)

Cheesy beef burrito wrapped with rice, nacho cheese, and chipotle sauce, grilled to golden perfection.

# Ingredients List:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning or 2 tablespoons homemade seasoning blend
03 - 1 cup cooked white rice
04 - 1/2 cup sour cream
05 - 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
06 - 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
07 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
08 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
09 - 4 large flour tortillas
10 - Butter or oil for grilling

# How to Make It:

01 - Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain any excess fat, then add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes to incorporate flavors.
02 - Heat each tortilla for a few seconds on a dry skillet or in the microwave until soft and pliable.
03 - Lay a tortilla flat. Evenly layer with 1/4 cup cooked rice, seasoned beef, 2 tablespoons nacho cheese sauce, 1 tablespoon chipotle sauce, and 2 tablespoons sour cream. Top with 1/4 cup shredded cheddar and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
04 - Fold in the sides and roll the tortilla tightly around the filling to form a sealed burrito.
05 - Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons shredded cheese where the seam of the burrito will sit. Place the burrito seam-side down and press gently. Cook until the cheese melts and browns, about 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and repeat on the other side until golden and crisp.

# Extra Information:

01 - For optimal texture, assemble and grill burritos just before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
02 - For reheating, use a skillet to regain a crisp exterior or warm in the microwave for 60 to 90 seconds.
03 - Customize with black beans, jalapeños, or cooked chicken as desired. Substitute with dairy-free cheese to adapt for vegan diets.
