Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls (Print-Friendly Recipe)

01 - 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

02 - 3/4 cup chopped pecans
03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1/2 cup light corn syrup
05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
07 - 1 large egg

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted unsalted butter, vanilla extract, and large egg. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this filling for brushing later.
03 - Stir chopped pecans into the remainder of the sugar mixture until evenly coated.
04 - Unroll crescent dough and separate into individual triangles on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons pecan filling onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll each up tightly toward the narrow end.
05 - Bake crescent rolls in the preheated oven for 8 minutes, or until the dough just begins to set.
06 - Remove baking sheet from oven and brush each roll with the reserved sugar mixture. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
07 - Remove from oven and, if desired, sprinkle additional chopped pecans on top before serving.
